So, why am I starting a blog?  I’ve taken on this personal challenge because I think it is something I can do (with consistent effort and prayerful thought).  I have lived the majority of the life God has given me (I am aware my days, weeks or years are numbered) and desire to share as many principles of life as possible with those I love.

We all learn as we live whether or not we realize it.  Most of us in the twilight of our lives realize that, because of poor choices and stupid decisions, we have gone through a process known as “the school of hard knocks.” We learned valuable lessons that we did not wish for and sorry we had to learn them.  But, they are there yet they are hard to put into words.  In this project, I hope to put words to some of the lessons I’ve learned.

This feeble effort is dedicated to the God Who created me and to my children, Cristen and Craig, and to my son’s wife, Elisa, and to my grandchildren, Chase, Landon, and Cooper.   I also have dreams of these insights affecting the lives of my (yet to be) great grandchildren.  Of course, after living with the same woman for fifty three years, I realize that many of my life’s lessons were also experienced by my wife, Anita, and want to give her honor here, as well.

Thank you for taking the time to visit here.  All glory and honor goes to the One Who loved us and gave Himself for us… Jesus Christ!

I hope you will visit weekly and subscribe.
